Worst experience ever!!
Don’t even bother calling their service centre. I tried twice and was cut off twice after waiting on 45 minutes! Trying to book online is also a nightmare as they want serial and model numbers and if you don’t have those, you can’t complete the booking. The Miele dryer is terrible. It never completely dries the clothing, constantly beeps saying filter needs cleaning when it has nothing in it! Most frustrating experience ever. Beyond disappointed in Miele.
Love Miele products
I have had the privilege of owning 2 Miele products so far, yes, I know that's not many as I have been guided by others to try other high range brands so had to stick with them til they no longer functioned for me. Both Miele products, Vacuum cleaner and so far Washing machine are Fantastic. My vacuum cleaner lasted 14 years for me and is still going for my girls 6 years on, so I am hoping the Washing machine stand the test of time too!
Meile Experience of MULTI-LEVEL FAILURE
Just over four years ago we purchased a Miele dishwasher [from the SA Experience Centre Hilton] trusting that the Miele brand and customer service would be of an exceptional standard. Sadly, we were mistaken.
Our Miele dishwasher [with an expected normal use life of 20 years] lasted just over 4 years. Did you hear that? It died in less than 5 years even though it has seen light use by an older couple!
We contacted the Miele centre and an engineer told us the unit had failed and that we should contact Miele informing them of this less-than-sa...tisfactory situation. We did this via the Centre in Hilton. There we were assured that this should not happen as Miele is a world leader providing appliances of the highest quality and customer care. Rather than send good money after bad we decided to simply replace the unit with a new top of the range one. We paid our deposit and made the order. The sales staff assured us that a report would be generated via he Miele engineer and a good-will gesture to compensate our poor experience would be applied. We were somewhat satisfied.
This new request would be the second time now i've had to organise a technician for my dishwasher, after they replaced the front door, started to rust out.
Spoke with the call centre yesterday after on hold for 25min, to be told its a 3 week wait to organise a technician onsite in Sydney metro at the earliest to look at my dishwasher that has now total stopped working. Asked to speak to a manager was told they are unable to transfer me, I requested a callback from a manager, still nothing o...
No customer service.
Sent numerous emails re faulty dishwasher with NO response. Tried calling, impossible to get through after being on hold for what seemed like hours.
Ordered and paid in full for a dishwasher in Jan 2022, received two txt messages from Miele, the first said delayed to June, then another within minutes say available in April. Now the end of May. Called Harvey Norman many times and each time the Miele rep was to call us back, he never did. Ended up getting a credit, not one call from Meile ever. pathetic communications skills.
Faulty $10K steam oven, terrible service, still trying to get refund
I purchased the DGC787860XXL from Miele and the steam function did not work upon delivery. I was on the phone for 2-3 hours to get hold of someone and couldn’t get a technician for more than a week. That technician could not fix it and rescheduled for 2 more weeks.
I am now trying to get a refund for the majorly faulty product and I’ve been passed around from department to department and am still waiting to hear a confirmation. This is extremely disappointing quality and service for a $10K product. I will never be purchasing anything from Miele again.
Staggered by zero customer service
I ordered a number of Meile products in April 2022. Only one arrived, so I emailed to find when the others were coming. I got no reply so I went on to the helpline. No one answered. I tried the online chat. They referred me to the phone number.Still no one answered. I tried their social media. No response. I tried using their online enquiry form but it asked for a customer number that didn't exist. I tried to find out my customer number via the online chat but got referred to the telephone number that never gets answered. I contacted Meil...e head office in Germany... still waiting for a reply. To be honest I'm shocked by this appalling lack of customer care. Meile have a reputation for being a high end brand with high end customer care. This is the worst customer care I've ever had from any company - ie zero. If anyone from Meile monitors these kinds of complaints please take note. You are going to lose a lot of customers if you don't improve things. I for one won't be back until I know things have got better.
What happened to Miele?
I have been Miele customer for more than 20 years. Last week i bought a washing machine though Harvey Norman. I was told by the manager at Harvey Norman that it will be delivered in two days. ( i wanted it asap as we are going on holidays) However, Miele does not deliver on Saturdays . I called Miele today and tried to schedule the delivery but was told that they will think if they can take it to the third floor. Other appliances were delivered without any issues (including my old Miele washing machine) They said they will refund the installation fee ?????
Would never buy a Miele product again
Very poor quality product, I bought a dishwasher pay $1400 for it to be faulty within 5 years, I previously had a cheap Simpson dishwasher that latest over 10 years without any issue. I decided to buy what I thought was a quality product, double the price of other dishwashers. Would never buy a Miele product again
Woeful Customer Service. What has happened to Miele?
We are a devoted Miele customer and have multiple large appliances of theirs and have been committed to the company for 20 years. We recently bought a top of line cordless vacuum and the brush head kept surging and then stopping and the charging station didn't charge immediately after purchase. I have spent hours chasing this up and driving to Harvey Norman and then to the Miele service centre in Perth. They agreed it was faulty and said they'd order parts and now its been months and I can't get any reply to multiple emails, phone calls they do...n't answer and voicemail messages they don't reply to. I contact their central line and they say they can't help that I'll have to contact the service centre but I can't get any reply. I have been polite, understanding and courteous with them. They have sold me a faulty product and I can't get help. It's been 6 months now since I purchased the item. What happened to the old Miele with excellent customer service? We have decided that we will look at the other high end brands from now on. Not worth the time and hassle with Miele.
Crap service from Miele
Have a Model TDA150C Dryer , Meile service booked 2 weeks ago cancelled on the day , promised they would rebook - nothing 2 weeks later.
Bought a Vacummn faulty after 2 months , been waiting for parts now 2 months , had to post item away with Aust Post for service.
Im over the Miele crap service and crap products .

I bought a very expensive induction cooktop which required repair which cost 1/4 of its original price.
I acknowledge that it was out of warranty by 3 years. However Miele claim 20 years reliable service. I purchased this item because of their claimed quality, reliability and customer service.
I emailed customer service December 2021 outlining my disappointment, no reply till Late January asking for the receipt for the repair which I sent. Nothing heard since . I sent another email and yet another one last week. Nothing!

Miele's customer service has gone to the dogs
Phoned to follow up a service and estimate the arrival of the needed part. Miele could not find any record of a service at my residence. Contacted the planning section of Miele whose job it is to book a service. No record of any attendance by a Service person. I spent 35 mins waiting for the call to be answered and another 10 mins try to get the Customer person to find my original request for a service. Incredibly inept service. Who would make up such a scenario. A service man visits on time assesses the faults orders the part and can never be found again. Incredible

I purchased a washing machine in Nov 2021, and was very quickly contacted to purchase an extended warranty by a sales team. My email was actioned by Miele in a day and the money was processed overnight.
5 months on and my standard wash cycle has randomly become 3 hrs 9 minutes (30 mins longer than it originally was) which is a huge inconvenience when washing clothes for a family - basically means you have to stay home all day to do the washing which is completely ridiculous! Contacted the sales team who sold me the extended warranty as my ...concern does not align itself to the online service form. It is 3.5 weeks later with 3 prompts by me and still no one from the service team has contacted me. Embarrassing Miele. I really tossed up between the Bosch and the Miele as I had heard of the poor Miele service. The machine was also hugely expensive. Do not buy. I will be buying a Bosch dryer.

Is it reasonable to request our nearly near new Miele G6620 dishwasher be replace rather than repaired? (By the way we are long time faithful customers of Miele, private and business) The facts- Invoice 6678339. Delivered 7/5/21 - Installed 9th July 2021 but house vacant while renovation completed. Move in 5th Nov 2021 started using machine, almost immediately noticed the machine was a bit noisier than previous Meile dishwasher we had had. Got noisier to the point that on March 6th 2022 (4 months and 1 day after we started using the machine) I took a video of the dishwasher and the noise. ( this video is time and date stamped) . About the same time I showed the video to the Miele technician that was at our home repairing another near new Miele appliance (dryer). He said just keep and eye on it and if it kets worse or stops working call Meile. On April 18th 2022 it stopped all together F70 fault. Called Miele waited on hold more than 30mins... (about usual from previous experience). Made booking. Today technician came. 16/5/22. He didn't have the parts with him to fix it. We suggested that a replacement machine would be reasonable since it was faulty from new, became very noise within a few months and a failed completely within 5 months of use. We hope that Miele takes this opportunity to do the right thing. Will keep you posted. Any suggestions welcomed.
My Miele washing machine was expensive (but projected to last 20 years, so seemed worth it). Stopped working 5 years in.
Technician says it will take $900 and 3 weeks to repair (!). How can you justify it, when you can buy a new Fisher & Paykel for $850?
Until now I have always had good experiences with Miele (also have a Miele dishwasher, stove and oven). However, this experience has made me re-evaluate. Be careful everyone!
Anyone know the solution to sheets balling up in my Miele dryer after 2 +hrs middle still damp? You then have to drape them around the house. MAY AS WELL DONE THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE AND SAVED THE ELECTRICITY!!
It is the worst dryer I have ever had!!.. my sheets ball up so tight!.. I have to constantly go and deball them to get them to dry, so frustrating….. just a rubbish crappy dryer
